DESIGNER: STEFANO CAVAZZANA


Born in Mestre, he graduated cum laude in architecture from the University Institute of Architecture of Venice. In his studio in Mestre, he deals with architecture, design and company graphics and was awarded with the special mention Young and Design in 1997 and 2001. In the year 2000, for the objects manufactured by Calligaris, he received the special mention for the "Golfo Aranci" table and was recommended for the DoT 2006/2007 for the "Asia" chair. For each and every work, design or graphic, he seeks the idea for "simple" and immediate products that last in time, never transitory or faddish. This reflects in a particular way in furniture design, never invasive or gaudy but a functional and elegant presence in which the trace of design must be detected.
