Founded in 1984, Casamania by Frezza has grown rapidly in the space of a few years, both in terms of structure as well as the results achieved in the local and international marketplace. Casamania’s offers attractive products, functionally and aesthetically rich and ideal for use in a diverse range of contexts. Products are characterised by the use of colour, offering a sense of wellbeing to any space. Casamania has accumulated valuable experience in the accessories sector and particularly for its modular systems, ideal for every situation and every space: whether home, office or shop.
Casamania's vision has been noticed and appreciated by the general public and by design professionals; Casamania products have been awarded a number of prestigious prizes: Opus Incertum was honoured with the “Design Distinction” award from American magazine I.D.; the Vad chair and Simpaty lamp were awarded the “Young & Design” prize, while the Kant stool has been nominated for the competition ‘Pulchra – le 10 cose più belle del mondo. In 2008 Casamania was awarded the prestigious Good Design award from the Chicago Anathenaeum for the N-7 table by Norayr Khachatryan.
Casamania products have been inserted in various exhibitions and museums around the world, including: the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum, Milan; the collection of the Musée National d’Art Moderne Centre Pompidou , Paris; the collection of Hamburg’s Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe ; the permanent exhibition of the Museu d’Arts Decoratives in Barcelona, and the Philadelphia Museum of Contemporary Art.
