La Siesta

La Siesta's affection and daily dedication to the hammock put this traditional form of sleeping into a new context. The World of the Hammock - for La Siesta this means combining traditional craftsmanship with features of new design, modern colours and innovative fabrics.
La Siesta exclusively uses dyes by renowned brands (Ciba, Dystar), which comply with European regulations and standards. Thanks to the constant optimization of the dyeing mix and the dyeing process the company has managed to obtain values for light- and wash-fastness of 4-5 for all their cotton products and of 5-6 for all HamacTex® products.
Only after passing several static and dynamic endurance-tests will our La Siesta products receive the safety standards certificate of the German TÜV Rheinland. Their products must, for example, withstand a load of 2,5 times the stipulated carrying capacity. The TÜV certificate commits us to test 1 % of our current production.
La Siesta products fulfil highest quality standards. To be able to guarantee these standards, all their products have to undergo systematic controls to ensure highest satisfaction and persistent improvements for their customers.
