DESIGNER: Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari


He was born in Varese in 1969, she was born in Bergamo in 1970. They met while studying Architecture at Milans Polytechnic, where they both graduated with a first-class degree in 1995. In 1997 they set up a practice of associated architects. Their professional activity expanded to encompass all areas of design, from objects to town-planning, but also residential and industrial architecture, restoration, environmental planning, interior design, and graphics. Each stage from formulation to production to communication involves an in-depth elaboration of all aspects. The two architects are also actively engaged in design and furnishings. For YDF they have created the brand, designed the products, dealt with and co-ordinated the image, and were awarded first prize at the Young and Design competition.
